JAMAICAN PAVILION WEDDING VENUE IN MONTREAL

Montreal’s Jamaican Pavilion Wedding venue is a great choice if you’re looking for a unique location minutes from downtown Montreal. It is unique in that it offers an outdoor option for your wedding ceremony, cocktails and wedding pictures. The Jamaican Pavilion is surrounded by lush gardens perfect for wedding photography. Couples are allowed to bring in their own decor, catering and bar to these two venues – which is a rare find in Montreal. Book early because they are both very popular!

Here are some photos from a beautiful wedding I had the chance to photograph at the Jamaican Pavilion.

The bride chose to get ready at the Place d’Armes, Hotel and Suites:

Many couples getting married at Jamaican Pavilion choose to get ready at the Place d’Armes Hotel & Suites.

It is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Old Montreal and only a few minutes drive from Parc Jean-Drapeau and it’s two wedding venues.

This hotel also has a beautiful stone exterior that is perfect for family photos or a “first look”.

A BRIDE AND GROOM’S FIRST LOOK: A “First Look” is becoming more popular every year. A first look gives couples the chance to see each other for the first time on the wedding day before their ceremony. This special moment is made all the more romantic since it is just between the two of them and away from the eyes of all their guests. It also allows the bride and groom to spend more time at cocktails with their guests because their photos can be done before the ceremony. I can also mention that this is a good time to do your photography because a bride’s hair and make-up is still fresh and perfect and the bridal bouquet is at it’s best.

AN OUTDOOR WEDDING AT THE JAMAICAN PAVILION – MINUTES FROM DOWNTOWN MONTREAL: It’s hard to believe that this lush wedding location is only a few minutes drive from Downtown Montreal. The open space enclosed by greenery and surrounding trees makes this ceremony location romantic, quiet and very private. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that offers an outdoor location for the ceremony – this is a beautiful option.

A HIDDEN GEM FOR OUTDOOR WEDDING PHOTOS SO CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN MONTREAL: After Kristyn and Marc-Andre’s ceremony we wandered into the beautiful gardens of Parc Jean-Drapeau. It’s a photographer’s dream to have so many choices for photography locations. Everywhere you turn, you will find beautiful places for wedding photos. With so much choice, we were able to meander back (photographing along the way) to rejoin the guests for cocktails.

OUTDOOR COCKTAILS AT THE JAMAICAN PAVILION WEDDING VENUE: At this stunning Montreal wedding venue, guests are able to spill out around the reception hall for an elegant cocktail hour.

WEDDING DECOR AND DETAILS OF THE RECEPTION AT THE JAMAICAN PAVILION. The Jamaican Pavilion Wedding venue has a beautiful renovated and modern interior with wood floors and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the grounds. I have seen this room decorated many different ways, and it is always enchanting.Kristyn and Marc-Andre worked with Bravo Rentals and the talented duo at Lovely & Lavish Events to create an elegant yet cozy ambiance. I loved everything about the decor – the chairs, the flowers and especially the stunning wedding cake by Rustique.
